Everybody! Get ready — Marvel has announced their movie lineup for the next six years. And it looks positively awesome. Although we can’t help but mention the fact that a little over a week ago, DC made a similar announcement, making this an amusing sort of comic-book titans catch-up game. Well, hey. We’ve all got to make a living, right? And when keeping up with the Joneses means staying on the toes of a major entertainment franchise… okay, now we digress. We’ll let this gif explain it all:
But anyways, back to what’s important — the Marvel Cinematic Universe announced 15 titles that will be released in the next six years. Whew! These will include Captain America: Civil War (May 2016), Guardians of the Galaxy 2 (May 2017 — new date), Thor: Ragnarok (July 2017), Black Panther (November 2017), Avengers: Infinity War Part I (May 2018), Captain Marvel (July 2018), Inhumans (November 2018) and Avengers: Infinity War Part 2 (May 2019).
Would it be irrational to pre-pop the unlimited bags of popcorn we’ll inevitably consume during all of these movies?
(Psst — you can also check out Newsarama’s nifty, chronologically ordered list of all the superhero films coming out from now until 2020 here. Awesome.)
